44th Annual RideIn for Camp SnoMo Bings In $101K

44th Annual RideIn for Camp SnoMo Bings In $101K

(Gorham, NH) On the weekend of February 5th, 2016, Easter Seals NH and the New Hampshire Snowmobile Association (NHSA) held their 44th annual RideIn to benefit Camp SnoMo, a summer camp program for youths and young adults with various disabilities.

This year was overshadowed by a lack of snow, in fact, there were no trails available for riding this year. Now, you may think this would put a huge damper on an event centered around snowmobilers; but that was far from the case. Snowmobilers from all over the state spent a lot of time socializing, supporting the local businesses and just having a good time.

Also this year, there was a new event: Camp Ride-In. This was a program just for the youth who attended the Ride-In. With guidance of an elite staff of dedicated volunteers, Camp Ride-In was filled with arts, crafts and games of all kinds.

After 43 years of the Ride-In, NHSA was about $96,000 shy of reaching the three million dollar mark. With the lack of snow, and some cancelations, this goal was looking unlikely. Through many events over the weekend, including a silent auction, raffles, and a live auction, they still were not sure they were going to make this landmark goal. However, when all the numbers were added up, and the check was presented, the number was an impressive $101,112.48!

Congratulations to NHSA, Easter Seals of NH and Camp SnoMo for this banner year and achieving this amazing milestone!
